Creating a healthy mental state is more than just a one-time thing. It’s a practice that we put in place to pay attention to what we need and how we feel at all times. This might sound a bit overbearing but like any practice, it starts to become a habit and from there we can approach our mental health with more confidence and conviction. I’ll be discussing how challenging times shake our mental state and some practical things that can help shift us into an ability to really take care of our inner world.

Maya Saffronhan

I am passionate about providing representation for all women, women of color in particular in the fitness industry both as consumers and professionals. I became a pre and post natal specific when my clients started getting pregnant but wanted to continue training! At the time, it was pretty revolutionary stuff!  I work to help women fall in love with their bodies again after society has told them that they need to be thinner or thicker or ‘better’ and help women appreciate the strength in their bodies. I am also a podcaster and releasing a new podcast soon called Maya's Minutes! I believe it is so important to be the representation you wished you had growing up, so I try and do that in every way possible, audio, visual and physical!
